Visa for Libya

Libya is seriously studying imposing visas for anyone who wants to enter the country from now on. Even the countries of Maghreb and Egypt, which were exempted of this formality will have to fulfill it.

While Mr Salah Rajab, Libyan Interior minister, has announced it during the Arab Interior Ministers’ Meeting held in Tunis these days, the Foreign Minister Abderrahmen Shalgham refuted the decision has already been taken. He claimed that a law is on to be studied during the next weeks.

Libya explain this “reform” as a way to counter-attack organised criminality and avoiding the illegal immigration. During these days that coincide with the 18th anniversary of creation of Maghreb Arab Unity, Libya exhorted all other Arab countries to do the same, to empeach misusing the facilities of moving between them.

According to statistics, more than a million of strangers, especially from Subsaharian African countries, are living in Libya but more than a half of them is in illegal situation. The Libyan government has already asked anyone who do not have a legal buisness contract to leave the country before February 2007.

And for us, Tunisians, this is the end of Ras Jdir dream : crossing the border to have “shopping” in Libya and coming back without being disturbed - at least if you do not bring “prohibited” goods.

La Commission générale de terminologie et de néologie a encore enrichi la langue française de quelques termes à utiliser en lieu et place d’un certain nombre d’anglicismes liés aux nouvelles technologies.

Expliquons : désormais, certains mots d’origine anglophone, essentiellement liés au monde des nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication, devront être remplacés par d’autres termes français plus adéquats. Oui, génial ! Au lieu de dire, j’ai bloggé, désormais, j’ai bloc-noté .

Les arabes sont tout aussi géniaux dans ce domaine là. Il n’y a qu’à regarder les chaînes du Golfe, mieux notre télévision nationale pour s’apercevoir de ce phénomène qui touchent tous les domaines de la vie : de l’éducation, aux technologies, en passant par la médecine.

الفصل 72 : اعتماد معلوم 300 مليم على بطاقات تمويل الهاتف التي لا يتجاوز مقدارها 5 دنانير و300 مليم عن كل 5 دنانير أو جزء من 5 دنانيرمن مبلغ بطاقات تمويل الهاتف الّتي لا يتجاوز مقدارها 5 دنانير علاوة على معلوم 300 مليم عن كلّ 5 دنانير من المعاملات على عمليّات تمويل الهاتف غير المجسة ببطاقة مهما كانت طريقة التمويل.ـ

معناها ثمّة 300 فرنك ضريبة على كل 5 دينارات ؟ وإلاّ ها 300 فرنك موجودين مهما كان مقدار التمويل ؟
